These past few months have been incredible. I've had the opportunity to play with dozens of groups for concerts/recordings as a sideman, while continuing to write new music. Lately, I've been into writing music that blends funk/jazz with pop. This kind of music is what really gives me chills. People like Taylor Eigsti, Gretchen Parlato, and Robert Glasper are some that have inspired me to pursue this style. Check 'em out!!

I've just finished my 3rd semester studying Jazz Composition & Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and it has been quite a ride so far. I've been blessed to perform with some of Berklee's finest musicians, students and faculty alike, throughout the past couple months. To sum up this semester, outside of being a full-time student, I've performed and recorded steadily 3-4 times per week as a sideman and as a leader around Boston at venues/studios including: Mix One Studios, Wally's Cafe Jazz Club, David Friend Hall, Sam's at Louis, Cafe 939, Lily Pad, Berklee Studios, and in every Berklee recital hall now more times than I can count.
